Leeds is fast becoming one of the accessible capitals of the UK, with several Changing Places across the city. Leeds City Museum have launched their own facility to mark Changing Places Awareness Day, in the hope that it will open the museum to people who haven’t previously been able to enjoy the exhibits.
The Changing Places facility is a safe space providing extra equipment for people who can’t use a standard accessible toilet. It includes a Mona Height Adjustable Changing Table; an A2B Ceiling Hoist and an ABW6SP Height Adjustable Basin among the other specified equipment.
